We've developed a complete one-on-one photography and imaging curriculum for ALL ages!!
A tremendous idea for anyone that's purchased (or has been given) a DSLR. Whether you're capturing priceless family memories, taking up photography as a professional, a hobbyist, or to facilitate your business needs, this is an opportunity you'll not want to miss! Here are the basics: There are two separate classes available that can easily be taken individually or in tandem as a complete course. YOUR needs and knowledge will dictate how you choose to take advantage of the classes, though I highly recommend taking the entire course as they ARE designed to work together. The first instruction set makes learning YOUR camera easy and covers the basics of photography in general. The second is on the computer and covers Photoshop/Lightroom and file maintenance/organization. Each are 3 hour classes. Class One: The photography class includes composition (how to "frame" an image to be most pleasing to the eye). Shutter-speed and aperture studies and applications (how to capture your images properly based on the subject matter, lighting). ISO applications. And (probably the most important) how to use light to create mood and the most pleasing images. Class Two: The post-processing class includes the basic uses of Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom (or Photoshop Elements) to enhance and correct images while not losing quality. How to crop your images for proper print sizes. How to convert to black and white effectively. How to remove blemishes and age-lines. And how to size your image properly for its application. BOTH classes are simple, HANDS ON and are tailored for YOU and the type of photography YOU want to practice. **IMPORTANT: I do have a set curriculum and specifically designed lessons for the studies, but each class IS designed to be tailored to the clients needs!!** For instance, if your children are involved in sports and your needs lay in that area, I'll design the class to put an emphasis on shutter-speed studies and stop-action photography in different lighting circumstances. If you desire to practice portraiture, the emphasis will be on aperture studies and the uses of light for mood. The same for scenics, still-life.. ect. **PLEASE SPECIFY BEFOREHAND SO AS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE CLASSES, YOUR CAMERA AND YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY!!** Pricing: Clean, simple and inexpensive: $175 for each class or just $300 for the entire course.
